Subotica

For the past two years Subotica has been slowly but steadily revolutionising what it means to go out in Durham and the Introducing Festival will burst the boundaies forever. A Subotica event has come to mean a night of raving and misbehaving so prepare yoursleves (and your brain cells) because what was one night on the tiles has evolved into a mouth-watering, sight-for-sore-eyes, week-long line up. Our humble University cirt with its cobbled streets and palatial courtyards will play host to an urban festival that could whip any muddy field into frenzy. Speaking of whips, the launch party will be held on the 13th October in the sumptuous fabio's on Silver Street where you will be treated to some melt-in-the-mouth soft porn visuals.

After Monday night you may be feeling post-coital but start hustling your crew to hit the DSU for one of the biggest acts Durham has ever seen. Simian Mobile Disco will rip the decks, and your mind, with the beat. To follow we present Neville Street's pride and joy, Fishtank. Here, we will be uncovering some of the dirtiest, grimiest dubstep that will have you wobbling those legs until the cows come home.

Next, our spiritual home the DSU will be serving up a classic Subotica Thursday night with Goldie and Rusko with a side order of beatboxers and comperes leading the crowd into a sweaty riot. Brush your shoulders off for the festival's final mash up which, with its secret line up and secret location, will see you pushing your ears into the ground until the night itself before you even hear a whisper of the details. For one week only Subotica will take over the city introducing you to some of the hottest acts in the finest venues. Never mind 'nothing stands still' by the end you won't be standing at all. BR
